In 1982 Willis introduced its Environmental Graphics.  Large format graphics screen printed on this strange plastic coated foam core board. The graphics were meant to be used to decorate the arcade and make it more appealing to the clientele.  Some of the pieces were purely decorative and some were functional. There were double sided open and closed signs, high score signs, happy hour, etc.  Most of the pieces were huge and the plastic coated board was a bit fragile, which makes me wonder how well this product shipped and sold.  I’ve only encountered two sets, one was on the East Coast and just a partial set. The other set is the one showcased here which I secured from an estate sale in Georgia with a lot of help. These images aren’t as polished as the Willis cpo section, I’ve just not had time to manually scan each one yet. The names are made up just to help keep them organized.
